This was Prince Naseem Hamed’s first defence of the WBO Featherweight title he won 6 months earlier after beating Steve Robinson. Lawal had won all but one of his fights up until this point in his career, but nobody thought he would do too well against Hamed at this point. Naseem was simply unstoppable at this time. Enjoy !
